Trending Tuesday: Sephora Beauty Box

IMG_3803

Subscription boxes are extremely popular right now and I have tried numerous subscriptions from many different companies. The Sephora Play! Beauty Box is by far my absolute FAVORITE subscription box so far, for beauty anyway. This is the June box pictured above. This box is only $10 a month but as of right now there is a waitlist for certain areas in the united states.

The theme this month was “The Minimalists”. Above is the little booklet that comes with every box explaining what the products are and how to use them. With this booklet you can scan each product seen with the Sephora App and add it to your cart or read more about each product.

The Sephora Play! Beauty Box isn’t just a box of knock-off brands no one has heard of. This month’s box included the BECCA Backlight Priming Filter in a travel size tube. The applicator pump is easy and clean and perfect to throw in a travel bag or purses.

Two more minimal products in this subscription box included a best selling mascara from benefit cosmetics and the new SPF 30 Tarte Guard. Who doesn’t love new products and best selling products, especially if they are travel friendly? The answer is no one, obviously.

The next two products in the Sephora Play! box were a trial size BARESKIN Sheer Sun liquid bronzer and Bumble and Bumble Don’t you blow it hair cream. The Bare Minerals BareSKIN liquid bronzer is perfect for a lightweight minimal coverage during the summer months and is perfect for a beach vacation. The BB don’t blow it hair cream is also perfect for the summer months and for a beach vacation. This product is used by applying it to damp or wet hair and looks best when hair is air dried.

Every box includes a new perfume sample every month. This month is the TOCCA brand perfume. It’s lightweight and has a fresh floral scent.

Last  but no least, every month the subscriber gets a Sephora Play! Pass. The Sephora Play! Pass can only be redeemed in store for expert advice and 50 extra bonus points with any purchase during the month of the received box.

I HIGHLY recommend the Sephora Play! Beauty Box for any make-up loving human being! For only $10 a month you get so many new and wonderful, high-end products! What a great deal?! Let me know if anyone signs up or gets this box and let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy this post and I’ll be back for more.

Oh! Pastels.

What’s more fun than pastels? Nothing, obviously!

I pair this cute halter, floral, pastel dress with a lavender bralett, mint colored statement necklace and brown and Jean, chunky heels.

This look is great for a girls night out, date night, summer wedding or a beach vacation. It’s such a classic, simple look that is also fun and sofisticated.

Summer Florals

IMG_5298 2

It’s definitely summer in Georgia and what is a better way to stay cute and not have to try too hard? Find a bright, floral patterned romper.

This romper is perfect because it has quarter sleeves with a bell shaped end. It also has a feminine hem and is tighter around the waste with a bow.

I paired brown strappy heels, a bright yellow bralette, ray-bans and cold accessories with this look.

It’s Mauve(lous)

IMG_5255 2Summer is here and that means cute, new outfits! What better outfit to wear than one that is cute, comfortable and affordable? This one of course. Summer can get hot and humid so shorts, sandals and a tank are the perfect go to.

I paired together lace embroidered olive shorts with a t-shirt material mauve tank top. I layered the tank top on top of taupe bralette. To finish off the look accessorized with black and cheetah print strappy sandals, a turquoise strand of costume pearls, Alex and Ani bracelets, a gold adjustable band bracelet and my Apple watch.
The tank top, shorts, shoes and gold bracelet can be found at Shopdressup.com and you can get 10% off your entire purchase online and in store with the code BISHOP10.

I started my blog a year ago in June of 2015. When I started it I thought it was going to be a breeze. Posting once or twice a week was no big deal and through the summer it was pretty simple but then August rolled around. I am a college student and I’m going into my 3rd year (more than half way done!! YAY!). I realized that I had to learn time management and I started cutting things out of my life to focus on school (obviously), so I stopped blogging.

But hey now I’m back! To me blogging is a way to express myself and share my insight on different topics with the world (or at least my audience).

So join me in my ongoing journey to expand and grow my lifestyle blog. Grab a cup of tea or a snack and stick around.

XOXO,

Bethany Michelle
